They are also useful for tests with biological items, specimens, industrial products, materials and mechanical devices. Chambers are used to qualify the proper operation while the parts are being exposed to thermal environments, similar to what they will be expected to operate in while over product life. Temperature chambers can be optimized for specific testing such as burn-in, accelerated life testing, stress testing according to specific standards or simply to weed out early failures in any production.

TotalTemp is focused on Benchtop thermal test equipment and custom products. Larger chambers, Humidity salt spray are not our specialties, TotalTemp does offer Thermal Vacuum Products which performs best with the conductive heat transfer of a Thermal Platform.

  • With a top-opening door, they are well suited for small parts and for automated benchtop testing, either with a test operator or unattended.

    The C230 Cryogenically Cooled Temperature Chamber is a compact yet powerful solution for precise thermal testing in semiconductor, aerospace, and electronics development environments. With an internal workspace of 16″ wide × 12″ high × 12″ deep (406.4 mm × 304.8 mm × 304.8 mm), it provides ample room for a variety of DUTs while maintaining a smaller footprint. Flexible installation options include caster stand or benchtop setup, left or right-hinge doors, and the ability to stack chambers for increased throughput.

    Designed for demanding test conditions, the C230 supports extended temperature ranges using LN₂ or LCO₂ cryogenic delivery hoses, and includes dry nitrogen purge options to minimize condensation at ultra-low temperatures. It is equipped with redundant valve failsafe systems and an independent limit controller to ensure operational safety. A wide array of temperature sensors, terminal blocks, and a 16 to 64 channel thermocouple logger option enable detailed thermal profiling and environmental monitoring across test cycles.

    Control is streamlined through the Synergy Nano controller, offering web server access, Ethernet, USB, Telnet, and remote operation via RS-232, RS-485, or optional GPIB. The system features a robust cascade control algorithm, is fully programmable, and includes LabVIEW driver support for integration into automated test environments. Configurable as a single or stacked chamber, it ensures high-capacity testing without compromising footprint efficiency.

      To meet extreme thermal demands, the C460 offers extended temperature range options and supports cryogenic LN₂ and CO₂ cooling via high-performance delivery hoses. Integrated redundant valve failsafe systems, an independent limit controller, and optional dry nitrogen purge ensure operational safety and thermal stability.         The C900 Cryogenically Cooled Temperature Chamber is designed for large-scale and high-power device testing, offering a spacious internal workspace of 24″ × 24″ × 24″ (609.6 mm × 609.6 mm × 609.6 mm) to accommodate sizable components, full assemblies, or complex test fixtures. Its modular design supports caster stand or benchtop installation, left or right-hinged doors, and both standard and heavy-duty shelving, with optional stacked configurations to expand test capacity.

        Engineered for extreme thermal conditions, the C900 supports extended temperature ranges through LN₂ or LCO₂ cryogenic cooling, with dry nitrogen purge options to maintain frost-free operation.             These Heat Only Thermal Platforms are perfect for using conductive transfer to test components from ambient to hot temperatures. They work best for parts with a low or flat physical profile. They transfer heat outstandingly for programmed or very rapid heating transition times and have a precise temperature control every time from room temperatures to extremely hot.
